JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Gastroenterology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Northampton, MA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Call Only Coverage Period: Jan 08, 2027 Apr 09, 2027 On-Call Shift Schedule: 1 weekend every 5 weeks PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adult Rounding: Yes Case Mix: General Gastroenterology, Endoscopy FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: EPIC PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Upper Endoscopy Lower Endoscopy Colonoscopy JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active MA license Board: Board Certified in Gastroenterology DEA: Required Certifications: BLS Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform upper and lower endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies Provide weekend call coverage (approximately 1 weekend every 5 weeks) Round on GI patients Manage bread-and-butter GI cases Collaborate with hospitalist for first call
