Quick Facts Location: 560 West Mitchell Street, Petoskey, MI 49770, United States Start Date: 03/01/2026 End Date: Ongoing until filled or specified Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Weekend: 24-hour call (no weekday night call) Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours Employment Type: Locum Tenens Licenses/Certifications: Michigan medical license, Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology Experience: Relevant GI practice experience, ERCP certification REQUIRED Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable) What You ll Do Perform outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology procedures, including ERCP (REQUIRED) Manage consults and coordinate patient care within clinic/hospital settings Support and collaborate with onsite physicians, APPs, medical staff, and support services Contribute to endoscopy coverage, including scope screenings and procedures Document procedures and patient encounters using Cerner EMR system Ensure adherence to hospital and clinical protocols What You Need Valid medical license in Michigan Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology ERCP certification (REQUIRED) Prior GI practice experience, including outpatient and inpatient care Strong communication and collaboration skills About the Assignment This locum assignment is with a leading hospital in Petoskey, MI, providing outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology services. The facility supports a team-oriented environment with onsite labs, X-ray, and full medical services, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent patient care.
