Locum Tenens Opportunity: Gastroenterologist Near Saginaw, MI A healthcare facility near Saginaw, MI, is actively recruiting a Board Certified Gastroenterologist for an ongoing locum tenens position. This role requires a dedicated physician to provide comprehensive gastroenterology care, including ERCP procedures. The position offers a balanced schedule with no weekend call, allowing you to maintain a flexible work-life balance while making a significant impact on patient care in the community.

Call Schedule: Monday 7am to Friday 7pm

No weekend call

24-hour call coverage from 7am to 7am on weekends if needed

Clinical Focus: Required Procedures: ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) required

Support Available: Hospitalist support available

Collaboration with 2 colorectal surgeons within the community

Practice Setting: GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital

Patient Demographics: Diverse patient population requiring both routine and emergency GI care

Requirements:

Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology

State License: Must hold an active Michigan license

Certifications: DEA certification required

Additional Information: No emergency or temporary privileges are available
