Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled colonoscopies on a Mon-Fri schedule.
* Conduct inpatient consultations from the prior night and provide follow-up procedures in the GI lab as needed.
* Provide GI coverage during periods of provider vacation, CME, or scheduling conflicts.
* Collaborate with midlevel providers (NPs and PAs) for pre- and post-procedure patient workups.
* Manage complex GI patients in both clinic and GI lab settings, including endoscopic procedures.
