We are seeking a highly qualified Gastroenterology Physician for a locum tenens position near Saratoga, Texas. This opportunity is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis. The role is perfect for a skilled gastroenterologist looking to provide both inpatient and outpatient care, with flexible scheduling and supportive staff.

Shift Details Weekday Schedule :Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Weekend Requirements :Every other weekend hospital rounding

Weekend call: Friday 12:00 PM - Monday 8:00 AM (or Tuesday 8:00 AM if Monday is a holiday)

Night Call : Monday - Thursday

Practice Setting Setting : Suburban

Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) : 1.0

# Providers Needed : 1

EMR System : Epic

Support Staff : Includes Medical Assistant (MA)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Office Assistant, and Practice Manager

Patient Volume :Outpatient clinic: Approximately 20 patients per day

Inpatient: 4 to 10 patients per day

Job Duties and Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities :Provide general gastroenterology services for both inpatient and outpatient settings

Perform procedures such as Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and Colonoscopy with biopsy and cautery

Certification and License Requirements Certifications Required :BLS (Basic Life Support)

Board Certification : Required in Gastroenterology

State License : Texas
