Position Overview
We are seeking a General Urologist to provide comprehensive urologic care to patients in the Alexandria, Louisiana area. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a broad range of adult urologic conditions and performing general urologic procedures.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of urologic conditions.
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient urologic care.
Perform general urologic surgical and office-based procedures.
Manage conditions including kidney stones, BPH, urinary tract disorders, prostate conditions, and other urologic diseases.
Conduct consultations, follow-up visits, and pre- and post-operative care.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Collaborate with other physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
Board eligible or board certified in Urology.
Eligible for or currently holding a Louisiana medical license.
Eligible for hospital privileges.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
