Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
Schedule: Monday -Friday, 8am – 5pm
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Specialty: Geriatrician
Teaching Opportunities: Yes – Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
Call Requirements: Shared among providers; home call only
Additional Details: Trinity Health Grand Rapids Geriatrics sees patients in a variety of settings: home-based, facility-based, and outpatient clinic
Visit length isadequate to meet complex patient population

Requirements
Open to new grads with geriatrics fellowship training or experienced Internal Medicine/Family Medicine candidates.
Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA license
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Providing direct patient care
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Participating in teaching and mentoring
Documenting in Epic EMR
Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
Supporting community health efforts
