Are you a skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist seeking a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Wayland, Kentucky? We have an immediate need for coverage at a reputable facility. Assignment Details: Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing (Monthly) Coverage Type: Call Only EMR System: MediTech Practice Setting: Inpatient Average Deliveries Per Year: 160 This position offers an ongoing monthly schedule, providing call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the following day. The facility has a dedicated team of support staff, including registered nurses and medical assistants, ensuring excellent patient care. Specialty Skills Required: Low risk and high risk pregnancy management FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) OB Ultrasounds (interpretation and performance) Level I/Screening (viability) Level II/Targeted (anatomic) Routine and complicated deliveries C-sections, including decision-making VBACs, breech deliveries, multiple births Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) Surgical gynecology procedures Call Details: Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time Required: 20 minutes Phone Consults: 5 Call Ratio: 1 Patients Seen: 10 Call Back %: 30 Admissions: 2 If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact MD Staff at , or email us at .
