If you are an experienced OB/GYN professional with the flexibility to start ASAP and are interested in a position that offers the potential for a long-term commitment, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.Position Overview Profession: Physician Specialty: OB/GYN Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Shift Type: Days, with on-call responsibilities Default Rate Type: Daily Emergency/Temp Privileges: NoShift Details Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM 1:3 call for nights and weekends Weekend Requirements: 1:3 call rotation On Call Requirements: 1:3 nights and weekendsPractice Setting Setting: Clinic, hospital, and on-call duties Total Number of Beds: 15 Support Staff: Medical Assistant, RN, Sonographer Exam Rooms: 2-3 Onsite Services: Lab and ultrasound EMR System: CernerJob Duties Responsibilities: Provide OB/GYN services in clinic and hospital settings Manage both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies (approximately 50/50 split) Conduct GYN services with a focus on general procedures (60% GYN) Handle basic OB/GYN procedures including colposcopy Participate in call coverage for nights and weekendsCertification and License Requirements Certifications Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) State License: Illinois license preferred IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) consideredAdditional Information Experience: Strong OB and GYN experience required Position Type: Locum or Locum-to-Perm (L2P) Locum-to-Perm: Position is an excellent opportunity for an OB/GYN physician seeking a flexible locum tenens position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.
