Locum Tenens OB/GYN Opportunity in Nevada (ASAP - Ongoing)An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for an experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN) near Winnemucca, NV. We are seeking a dedicated physician to provide supplemental call coverage for both outpatient and inpatient services. This position offers flexibility, a dynamic patient care environment, and a chance to make a significant impact on the local community.Job Details: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: 24-hour call coverage Schedule: 10 days per month Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient services Location: Near Winnemucca, NVKey Responsibilities: 24-Hour Call Coverage: Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services during scheduled call periods. Deliveries: Manage an average of 5 to 10 deliveries per week. Rounding: Perform both inpatient and outpatient rounding duties as needed. Patient Care: Serve 3-4 patients per shift in a 12-bed department. Admissions: Handle admissions as part of your call responsibilities. Privileges: Hospital or surgery center privileges are not required, but temporary privileges may be available if necessary.Requirements: Board Certification: Board eligibility required in Obstetrics and Gynecology (certification preferred but not mandatory). Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required. Licensing: Must hold or be eligible for a Nevada state medical license. EMR System: Proficiency in the MEDHOST electronic medical records system is preferred.
