Quick Facts Location: Marquette, MI (for the internal location reference) / Auburn & Opelika, AL (public-facing) Start Date: 05/28/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing Shift: Flexible, no evening or weekend hours Hours/Week: Full-Time Employment Type: Permanent Licenses/Certs: Doctor of Optometry (OD), AL State Optometry License Experience: New graduates welcomed; prior experience preferred but not required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (for internal purposes) (Note: Pay package will be discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive pay package Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time (in accordance with applicable laws) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and manage visual and ocular health conditions Provide expert guidance on eyewear, contact lenses, and vision products Prescribe medications and implement therapeutic procedures as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless patient experience Stay current with industry advances and new technologies in optometry Support patient education to promote optimal eye health and satisfaction What You Need Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Valid Alabama State Optometry License (no IMLC) Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team New graduates encouraged to apply About the Assignment Join a well-established, rapidly growing optometry practice supporting the community of Auburn and Opelika, Alabama.
