Job description
The Medical Group is seeking a full time OB/GYN to join a team that includes one OB/GYN, one Family Medicine/OB physician, and two Certified Nurse Midwives. This established practice provides comprehensive women s health services in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
Highlights:
Trauma level 3 hospital with the nearest level 1 trauma center 1 hour awayEstablished practice is approximately 50% obstetrics and 50% gynecology; opportunity for high gynecology surgical practice if desiredReferral base draws from 7 clinics, and a primary service area supporting a population of 70,000 for this specialty1:4 on-call, for our 4 bed labor and delivery department, and emergency departmentAverage 225 deliveries/yearEMR SYSTEM: EPICCompensation determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.Base compensation salary is guaranteed starting at $380,000.00/year for the first 2 years of employment, plus the opportunity to earn additional income based on production hours worked (wRVU s).Annual CME reimbursement allowance & paid professional dues and membershipsRelocation reimbursement & sign on bonus (with assistance in residency if applicable)10% annual employer contributions into 401K plan; fully vested to the employee at the time the employee is eligible to participate in the plan after 6 months of employment, or 1,000 hours worked whichever occurs first.Opportunity to apply for state and national student loan forgiveness programs that have potential to award up to $120,000.00.Cash balance planHealth, dental, vision, long term and short-term disability insurance; professional liability insurance offered.6 weeks of time off per calendar yearUnmatched outdoor recreation 1,100 lakes in Otter Tail County, five lakes within city limits, 19 parks, eight golf courses nearby, plus premier biking and hiking on the Central Lakes Trail and North Country Scenic Trail.Family friendly amenities excellent schools, children s museum, indoor playground, new splash pad (2024), new aquatics center (2025), YMCA, zoos, movie theater, bowling, and a safe community of 14,000.Vibrant lifestyle & easy access wineries, breweries, spas, resorts, casinos, big box retail, and convenient travel to Fargo (1 hour) and Minneapolis/St. Paul (2.5 hours) with international airport access.
