Locum Tenens Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Location: North Carolina (Near Bat Cave) Start Date: End Date: OngoingReason for Coverage: Vacancy - Long-TermPractice Setting: Inpatient Admissions Required: YesPatients Per Shift: 4-6Bed In Department: 15Rounding: Both Board Certification: Eligible, Fellowship PreferredLicense: Active license in NC requiredTrauma Level: 0PEDs Level: 2Average Deliveries per Year: 600 Specialty Skills Required: Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation Level I/Screening (viability) Level II/Targeted (anatomic) Amniocentesis Routine delivery (Vaginal, Low forceps) Decision-making for c-section Complicated delivery (C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's) Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. Surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only, Operative/major) Laser certification Call Details: Call Type: Beeper Avg Call # per 24 Hr: Call Response Time Required: 30 Phone Consults: 0-3 Patients Seen: 4-6 Call Back %: 100% Admissions: 4 Locums Call is For: Both For more information, please contact MD Staff at or email .
