OB/GYN Locum Tenens Opportunity in Ohio Are you an experienced OB/GYN seeking a locum tenens position? We have an immediate need for coverage near Pittsburg, OH. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a hospital setting, providing essential OB/GYN services during a transitional period. Job Details Reason for Coverage: Existing independent group leaving the hospital
Practice Setting: Hospital house doc day shift and hospital house doc night shift (12-hour shifts)
No practice scheduled patients
Other OB/GYNs not onsite during locum coverage
Labs & Ultrasound onsite
Level I Nursery
EMR: Epic
Required Duties & Procedures Low-Risk Pregnancy: History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.
OB Ultrasounds: Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability)
Amniocentesis
Routine Delivery: Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
Complicated Delivery: C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
VBACs (Vaginal Birth After C-Section)
Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
Surgical Gynecology Open
Operative/Major Procedures: Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOAs
Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Procedures: Tubal Ligation, LOAs, Chromal Tubation
Schedule 12-hour shifts: Weekdays and Weekends
Travel Reimbursement Information Local Providers Only: Mileage Reimbursement
Submission Requirements Board Certified: REQUIRED
Active OH License: REQUIRED, please do not submit providers needing to obtain a license
ACLS Certified: REQUIRED
Flu Vaccine: REQUIRED at the time of credentialing
COVID Vaccine: Preferred
100% Clean Background: REQUIRED

Duties and Procedures From routine deliveries to complex surgical gynecology procedures, this role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities. The presence of labs, ultrasound, and a Level I Nursery ensures a well-equipped environment for delivering exceptional care.
Schedule Flexibility The schedule offers 12-hour shifts on weekdays and weekends, providing flexibility for locum tenens providers. This unique opportunity allows OB/GYNs to contribute to essential services during a transitional period.
Submission and Availability Providers must be Board Certified, hold an active Ohio License, and be ACLS certified. Vaccination requirements include the flu vaccine at the time of credentialing, with COVID vaccination preferred. A 100% clean background is required, and providers should specify their availability starting March 11, 2024, at the time of presentation.
