What You ll DoProvide labor and delivery coverage, including vaginal births, C-section, postpartum rounding, and emergency gynecologic consults
Support staff alongside certified nurse-midwives (CNMs) in a hospital setting
Manage routine labor processes and postpartum care
Respond to emergency gynecologic situations as needed
Document patient care efficiently using EPIC EMR system
Collaborate with hospital team to ensure patient safety and quality care
Cover hospital shifts approximately 15-20 shifts per month, including weekends and weekdays
What You Need
Required:
MD or DO license with Board Certification
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
DEA registration
1-2 years of obstetrics/gynecology experience
Willingness to float to other facilities in Janesville, Baraboo, Monroe, or Madison if needed
Preferred:
Experience with routine labor management, cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries
Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting
Strong communication skills
