Job description
Medical Oncologist
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is actively seeking an experienced Medical Oncologist to join our growing faculty in Cancer Medicine at our South Campus.
Location: Baptist Medical Center South Campus (South – MOB I – 14546), Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities
Provide patient‑centered multidisciplinary cancer care and manage patients with hematological and oncological diagnoses.
Establish and maintain an active clinical practice.
Support the clinical, research, and educational missions of the program.
Engage in sub‑specialization of certain malignancies, clinical research, and stewardship activities aligned with the mission.
Qualifications
Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Oncology (or Hematology/Oncology) with a record of clinical and academic achievement.
Demonstrated commitment to patient‑centered multidisciplinary cancer care.
Unrestricted Florida Medical License.
DEA License.
Recent graduates and early‑career physicians encouraged to apply.
Qualified candidates recommended for an adjunct academic appointment at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, commensurate with accomplishments.
