Duration: Ongoing

Shift Type: Varied, full-time Monday-Friday with on-call weekends

Weekend Requirements: On-call (1:3 during the week, 1:5 on weekends)

Patient Population: Adult

EMR: Epic

Case Mix: 40% Hematology, 60% Oncology

Average Patients per Day: 15-18

Participation in Tumor Boards: Required

Requirements Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology

Active Connecticut license or IMLC (Highly Preferred)

BLS Certification

Comfortable with Bone Marrow Biopsy

Proof of COVID-19 vaccine

Job Description The locum Hematologist/Oncologist will provide coverage in a free-standing cancer center. This role involves managing an adult patient population with a case mix of 40% Hematology and 60% Oncology. Full-time flexibility, including on-call weekends, and participation in tumor boards are integral to the position.
