nOchsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematologist. nAside from inpatient and outpatient patient care responsibilities, candidates have the opportunity to participate in or develop clinical research studies, teach fellows and residents, and contribute to the development of the program. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in hematology..

nPosition Highlights :

nnnACGME 2 year Classical Hematology fellowship in addition to 3 year combined fellowship (total 16 fellows)

nnUnique practice design with virtual consult coverage supporting inpatient and outpatient care and an innovative , an innovative econsult platform,(allows for some weeks of flexibility working from home)

n

nnHighly trained advanced practitioner resource support

n

nnDedicated Classical Hematology Team without malignant hematology or oncology care responsibilities

n

nnEducational and research opportunities

n

nnPathology support, apheresis and blood bank team, continuously growing in house lab capability (includes factor levels, inhibitor studies)

nnpursuing site accreditation for gene therapies
