Locum Tenens: Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Physician Near Harrisburg, PA We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hematology and Oncology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Harrisburg, PA. This position starts ASAP and is expected to run on an ongoing basis. Holidays Allowed: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

Job Duties: Provide both inpatient and outpatient Hematology and Oncology services

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of complex cases related to blood disorders and cancer

Perform rounds, manage admissions, and consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Attend to patients during clinic hours and on-call duties as required

Collaborate with support staff and other medical professionals in a team-oriented environment

Required Qualifications:

Board Certification: Yes, must be Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology

Fellowship: Required

Licensing: Active Pennsylvania state license or eligibility through IMLC

Certifications: ABLS

ACLS

ATLS

BLS

PALS

EMR System: Epic

Credentialing and Privileges: Hospital and surgery center privileges are required

Temporary privileges are available for fast onboarding

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Additional Details: This role will include scheduled clinical hours along with on-call responsibilities.

A high level of flexibility and the ability to handle a dynamic workload are essential.

Youll have the support of dedicated nurses, physician assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
