Locum Tenens Opportunity: Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Near Daleville, VA We are seeking a dedicated and experienced locum tenens physician specializing in Internal Medicine with a focus on Hematology and Oncology to join our team near Daleville, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care in an outpatient setting while supporting a long-term vacancy and permanent search.

Schedule and Duties:
Shifts: 4 shifts per week
8-10 hours per day, depending on patient volumes
Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
Patient Volume: 12-15 patients per day
Call: Beeper-only call for established patients
Very light call: 2-5 calls per week (phone only)
Additional Details: Oncology center has 3 additional established permanent providers
Currently searching for a full-time Medical Oncologist
Driving distance candidates preferred
An apartment is available for locums
Requirements:
Board Certification: Yes, Board Certified or Eligible
Fellowship: Required
Licensure: Licensed in VA or through IMLC
Certifications: ABLS: Yes
ACLS: Yes
BLS: Yes
ATLS: No
PALS: No
EMR System: Aria
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 45 days
Temporary Privileges: Available
Hospital Stroke Certified: Yes
Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges Required: Yes
