Locum Tenens Opportunity: Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Overview We are currently seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Physician for a locum tenens position in the Ladysmith, WI area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a well-established healthcare team, providing essential coverage starting late April with an ongoing commitment.

Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
Practice Details Coverage Schedule: M-F, 8-5
Outreach to neighboring clinics is required: Chippewa Falls Center and MMC-Ladysmith. Schedule TBD.
Provider Team: 2 MDs
3 NPs (2 NPs in their 1st year of practice)
Additional Services: Radiation oncology services available at the Eau Claire location
The Cancer Center has 18 Chemo infusion chairs and 2 non-chemo infusion chairs
Patient Load: Patients Per Shift: 25-30
Ambulatory and hospital patients
Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies required
Call Schedule: 1:3 call
Requirements Board Certification: Required
Fellowship: Required
Minimum Board Certification: Eligible
Active License in WI: Preferred
ACLS Certification: Yes
ATLS Certification: Yes
BLS Certification: Yes
PALS Certification: No
Credentialing Details Estimated Credentialing Timeframe (Days): 60 (if clean file)
Reimbursement for Licensing Costs: No
