Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist in Baytown, TX

Quick Facts Location: 4401 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521 Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date: 01/09/2026 Shift: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Sunday (flexible scheduling options) Hours/week: 40+ (full-time) Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: Active Texas medical license, Board Certified in OB/GYN Experience: Prior obstetrics hospitalist experience preferredPay & Benefits Hourly Pay: $195.00 per hour Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical coverage (W-2) Paid sick time (per legal requirements) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable Robust support team committed to your success throughout your placementWhat You'll Do Provide OB hospitalist coverage at a leading healthcare facility in Baytown Manage labor and delivery among a diverse patient population Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Perform necessary assessments, interventions, and emergency management Maintain documentation according to hospital protocols Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standardsWhat You Need
Required:
Active Texas medical license Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology BLS certification Prior hospitalist OB experience preferred
Preferred:
DEA and CSR credentials Experience working with EPIC EMR system Ability to adapt to varied schedules and patient needsAbout the Assignment
