\ NCore Clinical Partners isseeking a Hospital Medicine Medical Director to lead our established program at St. Mary's Healthcare in Amsterdam, New York.
\ NThis is an opportunity for a physician leader who wants to remain clinically active while helping shape the future of a growing hospital medicine program. The Medical Director will partner closely with hospital administration, nursing leadership, Emergency Medicine leadership, and Core Clinical Partners operational leadership to drive quality outcomes, strengthen clinician engagement, support operational performance, and advance strategic program initiatives.
\ NThe role includes dedicated Medical Director compensation, protected administrative time, and the opportunity to influence program direction while maintaining an active clinical practice. The clinical and administrative structure will be tailored to support the needs of the program and the responsibilities of the physician leader selected.

\ NSt. Mary's Hospital Medicine program is an established 10-clinician practice supported by a daily coverage model that includes day physician, day NP/PA, and nocturnist coverage.

\ N Daily coverage model includes:\ N 2 Day Physicians
\ N 2 Day NPs/PAs
1 Nocturnist Physician
\ N
Mid-40s average daily census
\ N Open ICU environment with 8 ICU beds
\ N Physicians should be comfortable managing ICU-level patients
\ N Procedures required
\ N Meditech Expanse EMR with Dragon
\ N Collaborative environment with nursing leadership, administration, and multidisciplinary teams

\ NMedical Director Responsibilities
\ N Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to physicians and advanced practice clinicians
\ N Partner with hospital administration and Core Clinical Partners leadership to achieve program goals
\ N Support clinician engagement, retention, and professional development
\ N Lead quality improvement and performance initiatives
\ N Collaborate with Emergency Medicine leadership on patient flow, admissions processes, and operational priorities
\ N Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning efforts
\ N Support program growth,strategic planning, and operational excellence
\ N Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional patient care
\ N Qualifications
\ N Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
\ N Hospital Medicine experience required
\ N Prior physician leadership experience preferred
\ N Demonstrated interest in quality improvement, operations, and physician leadership
\ N Strong communication and relationship-building skills
\ N Eligible for unrestricted New York medical licensure
