\ NLocal Team Collaboration:

\ N Join our close-knit team of 17 physicians and 3 APPs at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. There are 6 physicians on days with an APP Monday - Friday.

\ N Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who are supportive and collaborative with other staff and departments.

\ N Our team meets frequently to relay key information from administration, discuss group operations, and for general feedback.

\ N We have multiple committees that our providers can lead or join.

\ N Qualifications:

\ N Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.

\ N Hospitalist experience preferred.

\ N Authorized to work in the United States.

\ N Scheduling:

\ N Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.

\ N Key Responsibilities:

\ N The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivist coverage 24/7. No procedures required.

\ N As a day hospitalist, you will perform rounding and discharges.

\ N Our hospitalist team ispart of the rapid response team with intensivist support. No code responsibility – there is a code blue team.

\ N Excellent subspecialty support.

\ N We use EPIC EMR and have access to our own internal informatics platform.

\ N Rewards and Compensation:

\ N Expected annual compensation for a full-time day hospitalist is between $276,000 to $286,000, which is comprised of a base salary plus incentives.
