"Hospitalist (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)Position OverviewSeeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for short-term hospitalist coverage. The provider will manage inpatient medical patients and provide after-hours call coverage, including calls from a nursing home.Compensation:Open ratesScheduleCoverage Dates: August 6, 2026 (8:00 AM) August 10, 2026 (8:00 AM)Onsite hospital coverage: 8:00 AM 6:00 PMBeeper/phone call coverage when offsitePractice SettingAcute Care HospitalInpatient HospitalistNursing Home Call CoverageLevel IV Trauma CenterResponsibilitiesProvide inpatient hospital medicine coverageManage adult medical patientsRespond to nursing home callsProvide after-hours beeper/phone call coverageManage patients in a one-bed ICU as neededPractice DetailsApproximately 14 patients per dayAdult patient population (approximately 50% geriatric)Call ratio: 1:31:6Minimal callback volumeEMREpicRequirementsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineActive Kentucky licenseACLSBLSDEAClean malpractice, background, and license history (required for temporary privileges)Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentationAdditional InformationEmergency/temporary privileges are available for qualified providers.Travel reimbursement is available in accordance with facility guidelines."
