Quick Facts: Location: Springfield, MO Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date/Duration: Ongoing/Contract Shift: Various shifts (as needed), typically 12-hour shifts Hours/week: Flexible, based on staffing needs Employment Type: Locum/Contract License/Certs: Active MD or DO license in Missouri (or eligible) Experience: Prior OB hospitalist or OB/GYN experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $218.40/hr Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team committed to your success Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other eligible expenses What You ll Do: Provide expert obstetric and gynecological care in a busy hospital setting Manage labor and delivery, including high-risk cases and NICU Level 3 patients Respond to GYN emergencies promptly and effectively Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and quality care Document patient interactions accurately and timely Participate in on-call rotations and emergency coverage as needed What You Need: Active medical license in Missouri or eligible for licensure Prior experience as an OB hospitalist or OB/GYN/MD/DO in a hospital environment Strong clinical skills in obstetrics, gynecology, and emergency care Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume setting About the Assignment: This assignment is based at a reputable facility in Springfield, Missouri, serving a large volume of obstetric patients annually. The hospital is equipped with NICU Level 3 capabilities and handles a variety of obstetric emergencies, providing a dynamic environment for experienced OB professionals seeking their next locum opportunity.
