Opportunity Information
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire Hospitalists to join their established Hospitalist Program in Jackson, CA.
Flexible Schedule:
13 shifts per month
12-hour day shifts (avg workload of 11 - 14 patients)
12-hour night shifts (avg workload of 2-6 admits)
Differentials for night shifts
Program Structure includes:
ICU Coverage (6 bed)
Vent Management
Scheduling:
Schedules are made 3 months in advance
Physicians can expect to work a mix of rounding and night admit shifts every month
Physicians (in general) have 2 weekends off each month
Rounding is scheduled in 5-7-day blocks; can be longer or shorter if preferred
Qualifications
Board Certified/Eligible in Hospital Medicine by ABIMStrong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered careExcellent communication and team-based practice skills
Licensure & Certifications
Valid California medical license required prior to startFederal unrestricted DEA

Full-time annual compensation is $323,930+ bonuses and differentials.

Our multi-specialty medical group is comprised of over 1,600 clinicians practicing in seven counties in northern California, most within a 50-mile radius of Sacramento.
