Locums Hospitalist Need 1 Hour from DC Fast Credentialing Ongoing AvailabilityCatapult Physician Staffing has partnered with a non-profit, community-owned hospital in Maryland that is in need of a locum tenens Hospitalist physician for on-going coverage. An ideal candidate will hold board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and will have recent/relevant Hospitalist experience. At this time, our client is solely seeking night shift coverage (7p-7a). Below, please find the expected responsibilities of this provider along with additional details regarding the facility.Assignment Overview:96-Bed HospitalNight Shift Only - 7p-7aAdvanced Practitioner Support - 7p-12aAverage Patient Census - 35Open ICU - 4-6 patients with a pulmonologist who manages ventsAdmissions - 6 admits/nightRun Floor CodesEMR Used - Meditech 6.1Tele-medicine manages the cross-over for ICUSpecialty Back-Up - Specialists on call 24/7 including Cardio, Ortho, General Surgery, & GIRequirements:Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineActive/Unrestricted Maryland State LicenseActive BlS/ACLSProcedures Required - Central Lines & Intubations (very rarely performed, but must be comfortable to do so)6+ Shifts/Month1 Week Credentialing TimeframeBenefits:Paid Malpractice InsuranceLodging and Travel Expenses CoveredCompetitive Hourly RateOngoing Shift AvailabilityIf this opportunity falls outside of your search parameters in terms of location, compensation, volume, etc, please let me know and I will do my best to find an opportunity that better suits your needs.
