Hosptialist Nocturnist - Central IL.Client seeking a dedicated BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our established Hospitalist team as a Nocturnist at our main campus in Central Illinois.Practice Details Include: Join an established and collegial team of 50 Hospitalists who provide 24/7 in-house careCollaborate with night team to address patient admissions and continuum of careClosed ICU; will collaborate with ICU night physician to facilitate patient careTasks include overnight swing, night triage, and crosscoverThe Nocturnist will respond to all codes during overnight swing and crosscover between 7p 7aMust be able to work independently, yet collaboratively, assisting the night team as neededOpportunity to teach Internal and Family Medicine residents and/or medical studentsOpportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the College of Medicine College of Medicine is the nations first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineeringThe community is a very cosmopolitan place with a variety of restaurants offering international cuisine and a proximity of two large metropolitan areas, Chicago and Indianapolis (only 2-hour drive).With ease of transportation, easy access to international airports and professional sports, excellent schools and affordable housing options, our community features the friendliness and advantages of a smaller town while offering the dining, arts, sports, and entertainment options found in a much larger city.Accepts J1s: NoAccepts H1Bs:NoLoan Assistance: NegotiablePractice Type: unavailableVerified Date: 06/23/2019
