Job description
Hospitalist physician needed in Eastern North Carolina to help provide inpatient coverage. This opportunity offers the charm of a small town combined with plenty of outdoor-water activities. Opportunity Highlights: Assignment length: June-December Schedule: 7am-7pm; 4/12-hour shifts per week Duties include evaluation, admissions, rounding & discharging Average inpatient census: 12-15 Average number of admissions per day: 5-6 No ICU work; APP support & cohesive medical staff Competitive compensation Paid travel and housing A+ rated malpractice coverageRequirements: Board Certification: FP/IM/MedPed Comfortable w/interpretation of EKGs & ABGs Active, unrestricted NC medical license Current DEA 3 Current References ACLS/BLSFor more details on this positions & other locum tenens jobs we have available, email us or call .
