Job description
Physician - OB- Forth Worth, TX
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists.
Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload.
Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually.
Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year.
Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting.
Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies.
Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care.
Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage.
Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies.
Requirements:
Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
Active TX license (or in process) - REQUIRED
