Locum Tenens Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity Near Lindside, WV Specialty: Pediatric Hospitalist
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens position near Lindside, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to contribute to a well-established hospital group while covering for an extended period.
Position Highlights: Coverage Type: Call Only
Practice Setting: Inpatient
EMR System: MediTech
Shift Details: Call Coverage Only
Dates Needed: Starting November 18, 2024, and ongoing
Patients Per Shift: 1-10
Bed In Department: 12-bed Pediatric Wing
Rounding: Both Inpatient and Newborn Nursery
Admissions Required: Yes
License Requirement: Licensed in WV or IMLC
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days (sooner if clean histories)
Certification Requirements: BLS: Required
PALS: Required
ABLS: Not required
ACLS: Not required
ATLS: Not required
Description/Other Details: This role involves providing call coverage for inpatient pediatric care and newborn nursery. The position is ideal for a physician who enjoys working in a pediatric environment and is comfortable handling both routine and emergent cases.
The hospital group has a well-established pediatric wing with sub-specialty support. The position operates on a blocked scheduling basis, providing a structured and predictable work schedule.
The facility offers temporary privileges and will reimburse vendors for costs associated with licensing providers. Candidates must have an active West Virginia license to apply.
