Hospitalist Opportunity near CANVAS, WV Are you a dedicated Hospitalist seeking a permanent position near CANVAS, WV? Job Details: Specialty: Hospitalist Job Title: Physician Location: Near CANVAS, WV Schedule: 7 am - 7 pm, 7 on 7 off EMR: Meditech Number of Beds: 22 Number of ICU Beds: Facility does not have an ICU; however, providers with skills for intubation and central line placement for emergencies are preferred. Daily Census: 8 Acute/4-6 Swing Physician Shifts: 7 am - 7 pm (single) APP Shifts: 7 pm - 7 am (single) Specialty Coverages: Cardiology General Surgery PRN Pulmonology Nephrology Procedures Required: Intubation Central lines for emergencies Compensation: Salary: To be discussed with the client Additional Information: This permanent Hospitalist position near CANVAS, WV, offers a 7 on 7 off schedule, providing an ideal work-life balance for healthcare professionals. The facility utilizes Meditech EMR for efficient and comprehensive patient care. While the facility does not have an ICU, the preference is for providers with a minimum skill set for intubation and central line placement in emergency situations. The daily census includes a mix of acute and swing patients, providing a diverse clinical experience for the healthcare team. Physicians work 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm, allowing for extended patient care and collaboration with the dedicated clinical staff. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) cover the night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am, ensuring continuous and attentive care for patients. Specialty coverages in Cardiology, General Surgery, PRN Pulmonology, and Nephrology enhance the multidisciplinary approach to patient care, fostering a collaborative and dynamic healthcare environment.
