Hospitalist Physician Fond du Lac, WI Flexible Shifts Not Based in a Facility

Shift: Variable (Night shift 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, Day shift 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, Swing shift 10:00 AM 10:00 PM)

Employment Type: PRN

License/Certifications: WI Medical License (willingness not required if already licensed), BLS, ACLS (mandatory)

Experience: Must have documented inpatient or related outpatient hospital services for at least 10 patients in past two years

What You ll DoProvide inpatient hospitalist coverage on a flexible, PRN basis

Respond to rapid responses and emergencies in the adult inpatient setting

Collaborate with a team of 5 6 providers, including physicians and APPs

Attend to patients in the hospital's ICU and PCU units

Participate in patient care, response to codes, and urgent Covid-related issues

Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR software

Support ICU patients with intensivist oversight when available

What You Need

Required:

Active Wisconsin Medical License (or ability to obtain)

Board Certification in Internal Medicine

BLS and ACLS certifications

DEA license

Minimum 10 patients documented in inpatient or outpatient hospital services in past two years

Preferred:

Prior inpatient hospital experience

Ability to drive to shifts (shifts may not be block scheduled)
