We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for the Western Suburbs of Chicago, Addison, IL. Position Highlights
Physician‑Led Primary Care Group
Excellent location with strong growth potential
Outpatient practice
Full time, primarily outpatient (36 patient care hours & 4 admin hours)
Call, split evenly
EMR: EPIC
Minimum two years of professional experience
Market‑competitive compensation range: $220,000‑$366,000 (dependent on FTE, experience, certifications, etc.)

What Will You Do
Provide medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients
Educate patients on wellness, prevention, early detection, and provide materials and resources to patients and families
Share patient care duties with other physicians to ensure continuous availability
Determine which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs
Determine level of urgency for follow‑up, referral, or consultation appointments
Exercise final medical judgment in all health‑care issues
Prescribe medical treatments and clinical drugs
Order studies, tests, and ancillary services
Document all services in the patient medical record
Review long‑term cases requiring ongoing medical attention regularly
Consult with the Medical Director and other staff regarding patient care, assessment, and education issues
Participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient‑care programs established by the hospital or clinic
Oversee mid‑level medical staff as assigned, as well as nursing clinical staff
Assist in resolving complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients
Maintain confidentiality of patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
Participate in teaching sessions for other hospital and medical staff, residents, and/or medical students as assigned
What You Will Need
Illinois Medical License or License Pending
Completed Internal Medicine residency and board certification (or eligibility) by the American Board of Internal Medicine
