Locum Tenens Opportunity for Physician near Pacifica, CA ASAP- as soon as credentialed - 6 months to a year Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Frequency: Monday Friday, every week- no call Setting: Internal Medicine- will consider a strong FP but that is not ideal. FTE: 1.0 Duties: Typical IM clinic population average age 70. About half male/female with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, CHF, etc EMR: Cerner Patients per Day: Other providers seeing 12-18 a day depending upon complexity Support Staff: MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic) and RN assigned to clinic Reason for Coverage: Provider Retiring Deal Breakers? Not board certified Certification Requirements: Board Certified - REQUIRED Active CA License - REQUIRED BLS - REQUIRED Clean malpractice/background - HIGHLY PREFERRED Job ID: j- Description We are actively seeking a Locum Tenens Physician for a rewarding opportunity near Pacifica, CA. This position is available ASAP and extends for 6 months to a year. Key Details: Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Frequency: Monday Friday, every week- no call Setting: Internal Medicine (consideration for strong FP candidates) FTE: 1.0 Duties: The clinic serves a typical internal medicine population with an average age of 70. Approximately half male and half female patients present with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, and CHF. Facility Details: EMR: Cerner Patients per Day: Other providers are seeing 12-18 patients a day, depending upon complexity. Support Staff: The clinic is supported by MA's, MOR's, an APP (one in clinic), and an RN assigned to the clinic. Reason for Coverage: The current provider is retiring, creating an excellent opportunity for a locum physician to step in and provide seamless care. Deal Breakers: Board certification is a mandatory requirement for this position.
