Locum Tenens Opportunity for Physician near Pacifica, CA ASAP- as soon as credentialed - 6 months to a year
Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Frequency: Monday Friday, every week- no call
Setting: Internal Medicine- will consider a strong FP but that is not ideal.
FTE: 1.0
Duties: Typical IM clinic population average age 70. About half male/female with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, CHF, etc
EMR: Cerner
Patients per Day: Other providers seeing 12-18 a day depending upon complexity
Support Staff: MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic) and RN assigned to clinic
Reason for Coverage: Provider Retiring
Deal Breakers? Not board certified
Certification Requirements: Board Certified - REQUIRED
Active CA License - REQUIRED
BLS - REQUIRED
Clean malpractice/background - HIGHLY PREFERRED

Patients per Day: Other providers are seeing 12-18 patients a day, depending upon complexity.
Support Staff: The clinic is supported by MA's, MOR's, an APP (one in clinic), and an RN assigned to the clinic.
Reason for Coverage:
The current provider is retiring, creating an excellent opportunity for a locum physician to step in and provide seamless care.
