Job DescriptionInternal Medicine opening in Minnesota * Located in *Detroit Lakes, MN * - 40m from Fargo, ND* Full time, permanent opening* Employed position* Joining another Internist and 6 FPs in a beautiful Lakefront community of 10,000* Primarily an office-based practice in space connected to the hospital.* Option to follow and treat patients that are admitted to the hospital or elect to have them treated by a Hospitalist and referred back to you post-discharge.* Anticipated weekly work schedule: 8-5, M-F plus call rotation. Back-up call (by phone only) filtered by ARNP or PA.* Anticipated volume of office patients per day: 15-22/day* Provide IM support to Hospitalist covering an 8 bed ICU and 16-bed M/S unit in the only Hospital in the County.* Average daily census of unit: ICU = 4;
MSP = 15DetroitLakes, MN -Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area on scenic Detroit Lake.-1 hour from Fargo (international airport/shopping) and 3 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.-Detroit Lakes population: 10,000-Excellent school system and reasonable home costs.-Abundant family outdoor recreational activities year-round.-NHSC Loan Repayment Site
