Job DescriptionPhysician Opportunity – Primary Care Setting*Location: Cleveland, GA - Atlanta 80m | Full-Time, permanent position**NHSC Loan Repayment*Position OverviewSeeking a dedicated Physician to join a collaborative, patient-centered primary care team providing comprehensive medical services to the local community. The Physician will deliver high-quality care through diagnosis, treatment, and preventive medicine within an established care model that emphasizes coordinated, team-based healthcare.Key Responsibilities* Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses* Order, interpret, and oversee laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures* Prescribe and manage medications and therapeutic plans* Perform minor outpatient procedures and surgeries as appropriate* Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record* Adhere to established clinical quality and safety protocols* Collaborate with care team members to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care* Provide patient education on lifestyle, diet, and preventive health practices* Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed* Participate in quality assurance, community health promotion, and organizational initiatives* Supervise and provide clinical guidance to support staff and advanced practice cliniciansQualifications* MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school* Completion of an approved internship and residency program* Board-eligible or board-certified in a primary care specialty* Comprehensive knowledge of current clinical practices and developments in medicine* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Commitment to preventive medicine and patient educationIdeal Candidate* Patient-focused and team-oriented* Dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care* Comfortable serving a diverse patient population in a community-based setting
