Endeavor Health is seeking an **Internal Medicine Physician** in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, in Elmhurst, IL to join the team. Take advantage of this opportunity to join a comprehensive, fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to its academic mission, EMR analytics, and an exceptional patient experience.**Position Highlights:*** Physician Led Primary Care Group* Great location adding due to growthIM/FM Elmhurst Health Center #3, First Floor1100 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126* Full Time, outpatient (36 Patient care Hours & 4 Admin Hours)* Call, split evenly* EMR: EPIC* Market Competitive Compensation range from $220,000- $366,000* Comprehensive Benefits Package: Malpractice Coverage with Tail, Health, Vision, Dental, Life, Disability, 401(k), 457 (b), Flexible time off; vacation, CME/PHONE Allowance, Fitness Center Membership, etc.**What will you do:*** Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients to meet their medical needs* Educates patients on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients and families* Shares health care duties of patients with other physicians to always ensure the availability of a physician.* Determines which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs* Determines level of urgency of follow-up, referral/consultation appointments* Exercises final medical judgment in all issues of health care* Prescribes medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients* Orders studies, test and ancillary services* Documents all services in patient medical record* Reviews on a regular basis long-term case that require ongoing medical attention* Consults with the Medical Director and other professionals on staff as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and education issues* Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs established by the hospital or clinic requirements* Oversees mid-level medical staff as assigned as well as nursing clinical staff* Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests and inquiries from patients* Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations* Participates in teaching sessions for other hospital and medical staff, residents and/or medical students as assigned.**What you will need:*** License: Illinois Medical License or License Pending* Certification: The successful candidate for this position will have completed an Internal medicine residency and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine.**At Endeavor, You'll Benefit From:*** Autonomy & Flexibility- Our approach allows you the freedom to develop personalized care plans, according to each patient’s unique needs, and structure your days/appointment times as you wish.* Access- We boast a robust Specialty Care Network that ensures timely treatment and enables seamless care coordination at every stage of a patient’s journey.* Team-based Support- Physicians are backed by adequate, qualified clinical and administrative staff.
