Join 3 other Pulmonologists covering our 16 bed Critical Care Unit. We have an active acute care general surgery team and one Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon and are looking for a second to expand our services and to support a Regional Cancer Center and new state of the art medical center. This is an employed position and is available immediately. Excellent benefits package available including an expanded pension program. We are located in scenic central Maine and are a short drive away from ski resorts, lakes and rivers, award-winning golf courses, abundant hiking trails, and the beautiful Maine coast. We are just an hour north of Portland, Maines largest city, and three hours from Boston.We are Maines third largest health care system and a great place for patients and families to receive care, people to work and physicians to practice. Our new, state-of-the-art, 192-bed regional hospital opened in November of 2013. This $312 million project the largest hospital project ever undertaken in Maine consolidated inpatient hospital services in the region.
