Role Overview
This position seeks an Academic Internal Medicine Physician to provide outpatient, patient-centered care while engaging in resident teaching, mentorship, and medical education.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality outpatient care in a supportive ambulatory setting
Precept and mentor Internal Medicine residents, contributing to their education
Participate in curriculum development, scholarship, and program growth
Utilize protected faculty time for teaching, research, and curriculum activities
Engage in leadership roles to support the residency program’s development
Collaborate with experienced clinical teams and leadership
Qualifications & Skills
Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine
Arizona medical license or eligibility
Interest in teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activities
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Collaborative approach to clinical practice and education

Outpatient focus with limited call responsibilities; inpatient shifts optional
