We have an exciting locum tenens opportunity for a Board-Certified Critical Care Physician in Washington State, near Eltopia. Here are the key details: Job Highlights: Location : Washington State, near Eltopia Start Date : December 24, 2024 End Date : January 1, 2025 Shift Schedule : 24-hour shifts 8 hours in-house care 16 hours on-call coverage ICU Bed Count : 14-bed ICU Responsibilities: Manage critically ill patients in an ICU setting Rounding on patients during the day with on-call duties after in-house hours Handle admissions as required Perform specialized procedures including: Ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive) Central and arterial line insertions Bronchoscopy Lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis Dialysis catheter placement and more Requirements: Board Certification : Internal Medicine - Critical Care Medicine WA State License : Active and unrestricted license required Certifications : ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS Must be comfortable managing ICU patients and performing advanced procedures as detailed above Additional Details: The facility offers temporary privileges to expedite your ability to work Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered A one-day orientation is required prior to starting This opportunity provides support but no direct supervision of advanced practice providers or teaching duties This role is a perfect fit for physicians seeking a focused critical care position in a supportive and structured environment.
