Operating Room RN Manhattan, KS Looking for a rewarding operating room nursing position in Manhattan, KS? Quick Facts: Location: Manhattan, KS Start Date: 08/24/2026 End Date: 11/23/2026 Shift: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (e.g. ) Hours/Week: 32-40 hours Employment Type: Perm placement Licenses/Certifications: Active KS RN license, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC) Experience: Orthopedic experience preferred; capable of handling all specialties (Ortho, ENT, GYN, Urology, Spine, Cataracts, General Surgery) Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay (range $31.35 - $46.59, based on experience) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time complying with local laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do: Provide perioperative care in a busy OR setting, assisting with orthopedic, total joint replacements, sports med, and various other surgical specialties Prepare and set up operating rooms for scheduled procedures Assist surgeons and surgical techs during cases Perform terminal cleaning and case turnover Float to SPD and other departments as needed after orientation Ensure patient safety and follow all infection control protocols What You Need: Active Kansas RN license BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum orthopedic experience, including Zimmer and Arthrex cases Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment Strong clinical skills and professional demeanor About the Facility: A small, physician-owned hospital in Manhattan, KS, specializing in orthopedic, total joint, and sports medicine surgeries. With approximately 20 surgeries daily, the facility prides itself on efficiency and proficiency across all specialties. Staff are expected to be versatile, capable of supporting both the OR and SPD areas, in a lively, collaborative setting.
