Quick Facts Location: Cheboygan, MI Start Date: 10/19/2026 End Date: 01/18/2027 Shift: Afternoon / 8-hour shift Hours per Week: 40 Employment Type: Temporary full-time Licensure/Certifications: Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technologist license required Experience: Prior laboratory experience preferred, especially with routine testing and equipment troubleshootingPay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $39.53 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicableWhat You'll Do Perform routine laboratory procedures using analyzers, spectrophotometers, and other equipment Maintain quality control by running standards and controls, troubleshooting instrument malfunctions Analyze blood, plasma, and platelets for transfusions, including blood typing and compatibility testing Calibrate and maintain laboratory analyzers and other equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions Prepare detailed reports of laboratory findings for healthcare providers Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents Follow safety and quality standards to ensure accurate and timely test resultsWhat You Need
Required:
Valid Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technologist license Solid knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment calibration Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Preferred:
Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting Familiarity with blood banking proceduresAbout the Assignment
