Competitive pay rate of $179.40/hour with weekly direct deposit Work at a reputable healthcare facility in New Orleans, LA Enjoy a predictable day shift from 06:30 to 15:00 with full-time hours Start date: 04/13/2026 immediate and ongoing opportunities available Supportive team environment with dedicated personnel committed to your success Quick Facts: Location: New Orleans, LA (1514 Jefferson Highway, 70121) Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: Ongoing assignment Shift: Day shift, 5 days/week, 8 hours/day (06:30 - 15:00) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certifications: Certified by The American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion, valid Louisiana state license or ability to obtain one Experience: 2+ years of perfusion experience; new graduates considered with appropriate training Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay of $179.40 Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) coverage Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time as per federal and state laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (if applicable) What You ll Do: Conduct adult cardiopulmonary bypass procedures Provide ventricular assist device (VAD) support and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) support Operate Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) systems Perform autotransfusions and acute dialysis as needed Monitor physiological parameters and blood analyzers Support organ perfusion and assist surgical teams during procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes What You Need: Current certification from The American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Louisiana State license or ability to obtain licensure Minimum of 2 years of relevant perfusion experience Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This assignment is with a leading healthcare facility in New Orleans, LA, providing advanced cardiovascular and extracorporeal support. The role involves close collaboration with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient care during complex cardiac procedures. Flexibility to be part of emergency teams during critical events may be required, with pay adjustments as communicated.
