nDue to exciting growth, Essentia Health in Fargo, ND, is looking to recruit one Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join a busy Women’s and Children’s division with state-of-the-art remodeled facilities and a collegial and growing team.

nPRACTICE SPECIFICS

nConsultation based practice with primary base in the MFM clinic embedded within the growing OB/GYN Clinic and attached to the hospital with recently remodeled state-of-the art Birthing Center and post-partum rooms

nnnEstablished clinicians working alongside 2 MFM nurses, OB Diabetic Educator, Genetic Counselor in addition to 3 MFM sonographers

n

nnCollaborate with the OB/GYN team of 8 physicians, 7 CNMs and 5 NPs

n

nnLarge referral base including both maternal and fetal high risk obstetric population

n

nnEssentia Health – Fargo is a Level III NICU with recently built private rooms

n

nnAnticipated weekly work schedule at base location: 4-5 days per week; 8 am to 5 pm; no call requirements

n

nnAnticipated volume of office patients per day at base location: 10

n

nnAnticipated volume of procedures at base location: 2-4/month

n

nnAverage inpatient practice volume per month: 5-10 inpatient consults

n

nnDeliveries: Over 1,200/year

n

n nREQUIREMENTS

nnnBC/BE in MFM

n

nnTraining required: Prefer ABOG certification

n

n nLOCATION

nnnCentrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota, 4 hours west of Minneapolis/St. Paul

n

nnFargo-Moorhead population: 250,00 regional Service area consists of 25 clinics & 5 hospitals

n nCOMPENSATION

nn$652,655 Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
