Locum - Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI Are you a dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist looking for a flexible, rewarding assignment in Michigan? Quick Facts: Location: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI Start Date: 01/01/2027 End Date/Duration: Through approximately 01/24/2027 Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 6:00 PM + 24-hour call on weekends Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: Medical license required Experience: Prior maternal-fetal medicine experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay: Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program & dedicated support team What You ll Do: Review and round on inpatient maternal-fetal medicine patients with residents Provide inpatient consults and participate in phone consultations Supervise residents in high-risk OB clinics as needed Interpret ultrasounds, including amniocentesis, cerclage, and external cephalic version procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support high- and low-risk obstetric patients Manage outpatient high-risk clinics at Henry Ford Warren (as needed) What You Need: Medical license in Michigan Experience in maternal-fetal medicine (preferred) Proficiency in amniocentesis, cerclage, ECV Strong communication and clinical skills About the Assignment: This assignment at a leading facility in Grosse Pointe Woods involves comprehensive inpatient maternal-fetal medicine services, ultrasound interpretation, and supervision of residents in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. The coverage supports both high- and low-risk pregnancies with minimal call burden, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.
