JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-MD-69702 Profession: Physician Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine/Perinatology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Detroit, MI Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Jan 01, 2027 Ongoing Shift Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM6:00 PM with nightly call; 24-hour call on weekends Call Type: Beeper (phone consults) Reason for Coverage: Vacancy Callback Rate: $608/hour PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 0-5 patients/day (avg 2) Rounding: Included Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: High-risk and low-risk obstetric patients PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: Amniocentesis, Cerclage (including rescue), External cephalic version (ECV) Preferred: Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified Licenses: Active MI License or Universal License (IMLC) Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA) Duties & Responsibilities Review/round on inpatient maternal-fetal medicine patients with residents. Provide inpatient consults and phone consultations; in-person evaluation when clinically needed. Supervise residents in high-risk OB clinic at Warren as needed. Interpret and manage ultrasound services and related consults. Perform required procedures including amniocentesis, cerclage, and external cephalic version (ECV).
