Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Baton Rouge, LA Employer: The Inline Group Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position CareSouth - Full Time weekday schedule Employed New Graduates Welcome to Apply Average Patients seen: 22 patients Monday - Thursday, 11 patients on Friday, 6 patients on Saturday to allow for walk-ins Call Schedule: 1 month of primary call and 6 months of back up call to an NP or PA on primary call. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for providing direct patient care, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic illnesses. - Supervision of students - Perform EKG and pulmonary function test interpretation. - Non-invasive evaluation of gynecologic patients. - Treatment of uncomplicated dermatological conditions. - Treatment of acute back and neck pain, bursitis, tendonitis, tennis elbow, joint aspirations, abscess, etc. - Perform excision and removal of foreign bodies from eyes and ears. - Perform suturing of simple lacerations.
